After Cops Failed Him, This Dad Went ‘Catch a Predator’ and Caught the Man Molesting His Daughter

Lorena, TX — In 2014, Brandon and Leone Moore found out that a man, who their 14-year-old daughter worked for, had been molesting her — repeatedly. After finding out this devastating news, they did what society and the government say they are supposed to do — call the police.

However, police, apparently having more important things to do other than investigate the repeated rape of a child by an adult, told the distraught parents that it could take months to investigate the alleged crimes.

“We thought they were going to go arrest him right away,” Brandon said in an interview with the Daily Beast. “I was shocked. I thought for sure they’d go put him in jail and hold him. But they said in cases like this, ‘If we don’t do our homework, he could walk.’”

As the Free Thought Project has reported extensively, police departments have no incentive to investigate real crimes as there is no money in arresting a rapist. Drug arrests are far more profitable. According to the Department of Justice, there are currently over 400,000 untested rape kits collecting dust in police evidence rooms nationwide, and many other estimates suggest that this number could be as high as one million.

Armed Civilian Corner: Licensed Gun Owner Almost Shot Because of an Unfortunate Accident

Thank God for Surveillance Video!

This was an unfortunate incident all around and although I feel the cop was not justified in his actions and should be fired, this is what I take away from it: Anytime you have a Legally Armed Civilian who is irresponsible with his firearm, either intentionally or unintentionally, (as in this case) combined with a VERY NERVOUS/IMMORAL cop, bad things can happen.

Bottom line, if you are going to carry a firearm in your vehicle, SECURE IT AT ALL TIMES, AS IN A HOLSTER. KEEPING IT IN THE DOOR POCKET IS NEVER A GOOD IDEAL FOR MANY REASONS, THIS BEING ONE OF THEM! Why the firearm was not secured with Kids in the car is a bigger concern IMO, but as the video goes on to tell, there are several things with the man in question and the cop that are troubling to say the least.

Camera

Houston, TX — On April 1st, Julian Carmona pulled up to a Houston gas station to use the bathroom. In under a minute, however, he would be face down in the parking lot, looking up at the barrel of a police issued 9mm, arrested and charged aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on a Houston police officer.

According to Officer William Wright, Carmona “got out of the car holding a gun and pointed it directly at him, then dropped it, picked it up and pointed it again.” Wright then claimed that he ‘feared for his life’ and drew his own gun.

Wright made the arrest, and the citizens of Houston were saved by this heroic cop from a dangerous gun-toting gangster who tried to kill him. At least that’s the version of the story Wright told.

However, thanks to the surveillance camera attached to the front of the convenience store, Wright has just been exposed as a bold-faced liar.

“There are two sides to every story, and in this case,” Carmona’s attorney Jed Silverman says, “it’s night and day.”

What actually happened was entirely the opposite of Wright’s ‘official’ account.

As Carmona, a licensed concealed carry permit holder, hurriedly pulled into the gas station parking lot to use the bathroom, he accidentally knocked his gun loose, causing it to fall on the ground — an honest, and completely legal mistake.

“I don’t know if I hit it when I opened the door, or hit it with my foot—everything just happened so fast,” said Carmona.

After Carmona picked it up and put it back into his truck, the heroic Wright pulled his gun to save the day.

“I said, ‘Sir, I never pointed a gun at you. I promise, I never pointed a gun, check the videos,” Carmona said.

But this officer did not care about facts; he was set on his delusion of seeing a gun pointed at him. Amazingly enough, if he actually did perceive a gun pointed at him, he didn’t immediately begin firing.

“I put my hands up like, ‘Sir,’ I apologized right away,” Carmona said. “’Sir, I apologize,’ because the first thing that comes to my mind, I dropped a gun in front of an officer, without even knowing.”

From inside Carmona’s truck, his children watched in horror as their dad was being assaulted with a deadly weapon by someone who’s supposed to protect them.

“He comes behind me, he starts handcuffing me, and my son comes out of the truck. That was the last thing I wanted,” Carmona said.

Now Carmona is facing jail time for a crime he clearly did not commit — all because an easily frightened, and delusional officer saw something that did not happen.

Also caught on surveillance video, just prior to Wright nearly killing an innocent man, was this cop purchasing booze in uniform inside the store — a violation of the department policy. The Free Thought Project called the HPD to inquire about Wright’s standing, and we were told that they are investigating the matter.

What the video below shows is that a cop needs no evidence of a crime to deprive someone of their rights and charge them. Had this surveillance video never existed, Carmona could have been killed by this officer, and no one would have batted an eye.

Modern Crime: Horiffic Body Cam Footage Shows Cop Open-Fire On Fellow Officer During $60 Meth Bust

I typically don’t post Police Shooting Videos, because a lot of times you don’t get the FULL story, but this one defies LOGIC FOLKS. Thankfully, the Cop who was shot Survived and is gonna get to spend that 6.5 Million versus getting buried with  part of it and his wife spending the rest. -SF

Albuquerque, NM — The city of Albuquerque has paid out a settlement in the amount of $6.5 million this week, to one of their own officers who was repeatedly shot by a fellow cop.

As we previously reported, Officer Jacob Grant was critically wounded after being shot multiple times by Lieutenant Greg Brachle during an undercover drug bust. Both officers were undercover at the time of the shooting.

According to the criminal complaint, Grant and his partner Holly Garcia met a suspect to buy $60 worth of “shards,” another term for meth. The suspects got into Garcia’s car, and she drove them to an Econo Lodge Motel. One of the suspects went into a room and returned to Garcia’s vehicle with the meth.

Garcia then went to a McDonald’s parking lot and gave the signal to begin the bust, the shooting took place shortly after.

A day after the settlement paid out, the APD released the horrific lapel cam showing Lt. Brachle approach the undercover cop and unload on his fellow officer.

According to Grant’s tort claim, there were multiple reasons Brachle should not have fired the shots into the vehicle. Grant points out in the notice that Brachle knew him well, knew what clothes he was wearing, and even knew exactly where he would be sitting in the car. The court document states that there was no threat, and “rather than cease fire, Lt. Brachle instead re-positioned himself…and continued to fire,” shooting until his gun was empty.

After walking back up to the car, Brachle quickly realizes that he’d just filled his fellow officer with holes.

“I’m sorry,” Brachle screams. “I didn’t know it was you … I thought you were a bad guy.”

Grant is recovering and still undergoing physical therapy after being nearly killed and almost losing his arm. He is facing a long road to recovery, but making progress with each day, according to his wife, Laura. Holly Garcia, the other undercover officer in the vehicle during the shooting, suffered shrapnel wounds but is currently back on the job.

Ironically, neither of the suspects were injured at all.
