You don’t name United States Warships after a gay rights advocate, you name them after Men who Sacrificed their lives for the SECURITY of this Country. Men who dedicated everything to ensuring this country was not wiped off the face of the planet.

Modern Crime: The $24 Million Dollar Wall

Luis Hernandez-Gonzalez runs a successful gardening store in Miami-Dade, but not quite successful enough to explain the $24 million cops found stashed in his wall. The 44-year-old was charged with offenses including money laundering and marijuana trafficking after police found the cash stuffed in 5-gallon Home Depot buckets in a secret compartment guarded by a statuette of St. Lazarus in a raid on Tuesday, the Miami Herald reports. Officers also recovered cash and marijuana from Hernandez-Gonzalez’s “Blossom Experience” store, which they say caters to indoor pot growers with products like lights and fans.

Hernandez-Gonzalez, whose sister was also arrested, is accused of trafficking marijuana to Tennessee. He had been under investigation since 2010, when he chatted to an undercover cop about life in the drug trade, reports WPTV. Miami-Dade police plan to make the record-breaking amount of seized cash their own through civil forfeiture laws—and Hernandez-Gonzalez has been told his $4 million bond can’t be delivered in buckets. “For a man with $20 million in his walls, an elevated bond is clearly necessary,” Miami-Dade prosecutor Adam Korn said at a hearing Wednesday. (Cops in Washington state seized cash and drugs after an Easter egg hunt was disrupted.)

To sum it up, we have a lib-tard parent who saw an opportunity to exploit a picture of her child practicing a drill she had been taught in school in the event of an active shooter, which is basically, hide in the bathroom stall and stand on top of the toilet so the shooter could not see your feet from underneath.

Stunts like these, which are aimed at exploiting peoples emotions, without engaging their brains, are part and parcel of the Liberal anti-gun agenda. Notice the timing of the post also; a few days before the Senate Voted on Four Measures relating to Gun Control.

How Convenient.

As always though, the Logical Point here is missed entirely in favor of emotion and drama which in all reality, they hope will persuade your vote come November.

First off, why does a school have to teach your kid what to do in an Emergency? Why haven’t YOU, the PARENT, taught her what to do? As a parent, your first Job is to PROTECT your kid with PRACTICAL and REALISTIC advice and training. The World is a dangerous place, regardless how you feel about it.

Second, why is disarming all citizens from owning high capacity weapons going to solve this problem? Once again you mistake the TOOL, Not the WILLPOWER of the person doing the killing as the REAL problem. While we are at it, let’s ban SPOONS because they MAY make people fat who eat with them and also BAN Vehicles because people MAY drive drunk and kill somebody. There is also the issue that having somebody at the school (maybe even a teacher) armed with a high capacity weapon could SAVE LIVES!

Lastly, I ask you what is better: Seeing Kids practice a drill like this or seeing them Dead on the Floor like at the School Massacre at Beslan Russia?

You can get killed doing a lot of things folks, but one thing for sure will get you killed: DOING NOTHING.

Modern Crime: The Worst Pedophile in History

For more than 40 years, William James Vahey drugged and abused hundreds of pupils at international schools around the world. A Guardian investigation reveals that, despite numerous opportunities to stop him, nothing was done.

On 21 March 2014, a 64-year-old teacher named William James Vahey checked into a cheap hotel in the tiny Minnesota town of Luverne. Vahey had spent the previous four decades teaching at international schools, from Saudi Arabia to Indonesia, but he had decided to spend his final moments near his elderly mother and his brother, Chris, who both lived in Luverne.

The reservation was a decoy. At 5.20pm, Vahey crossed the road and checked in at a second hotel, a Quality Inn. He paid in cash for his room, telling the receptionist he didn’t have a credit card because he had just filed for bankruptcy. Upstairs in room 201, he undressed to his boxer shorts, folded his clothes neatly on to the coffee table and lowered himself into the bath tub, tucking a pillow behind his back.

A thousand miles south, special agents at the FBI office in Houston were waiting for a search warrant that would allow them to open a 16 gigabyte flashdrive that had recently arrived from the US embassy in Nicaragua. For the previous seven months, Vahey had been teaching history at the American Nicaraguan School, one of 193 schools around the world supported by the US government to promote US-style education. On 11 March, his housekeeper had shown up at the school gates, and handed the flashdrive in. It was part of a haul of computer kit that she had allegedly stolen from Vahey’s villa a few months earlier.

It later transpired that the drive contained photographs of at least 90 unconscious adolescent boys, naked and partially dressed. The images of abuse, which dated from 2008 to 2013, were neatly arranged into digital folders with titles such as “Panama Trip”, “Costa Rica Trip” and “Basketball Trip”. Vahey had led these field excursions while teaching at two other private international schools in Caracas and London.

The head of the American Nicaraguan School, Dr Gloria Doll, immediately confronted Vahey with the cache of images. He confessed that he had spent a lifetime drugging his pupils and abusing them. “I was molested as a boy, that is why I do this,” he told Doll, according to an FBI affidavit. “I have been doing this my whole life.” The full scale of his crimes would only emerge in the coming months: four decades of abuse at 10 international schools in eight countries from Saudi Arabia to Indonesia, and from Venezuela to the UK. The FBI described him as one of the most prolific paedophiles it has ever seen. It seemed inexplicable that nothing had been done to stop him.

Crusader Corner: Abu Sayyaf Militants in Philippines Behead 2nd Canadian Hostage

Philippine officials confirmed Tuesday that Abu Sayyaf militants beheaded a Canadian man, the second Canadian hostage to be killed in two months after demands for a large ransom were not met. The hostage, Robert Hall, was abducted from a marina last September along with another Canadian, a Norwegian, and a Filipino. The other Canadian, former mining executive John Ridsdel, was beheaded in April. A presidential spokesman condemned “the brutal and senseless murder” of Hall, who had been held by Abu Sayyaf in the jungles of southern Sulu province for nine months. “This latest heinous crime serves to strengthen our government’s resolve to put an end to this reign of terror and banditry,” the spokesman said in a statement.

A militant video obtained by Philippine police officials and seen by the AP showed Hall in an orange shirt and kneeling in front of a black ISIS-style flag before he was killed in a jungle area. An Abu Sayyaf deadline for the payment of a large ransom lapsed Monday, and police later found a severed head of a Caucasian man outside a Catholic cathedral in Jolo, Sulu province’s main town. In Ottawa, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said there was “compelling reason to believe” that Hall had been killed by his captors. He said he was “horrified” by the killings and reaffirmed Canada’s refusal to pay ransoms. “The government of Canada will not and cannot pay ransoms for hostages to terrorist groups, as doing so would endanger the lives of more Canadians,” Trudeau said in a statement.
