I would give this advice regardless of what ANY Government body (Federal, State or Local) is doing or is not doing.

Listen folks, at the end of the day, it comes down to YOU and only YOU as the person who is responsible for your Safety and Well being.

People everywhere need to understand that you are your first line of defense.

When seconds count you can bet the police are minutes away if they can come at all.

What happens when a sheriff’s office can’t afford to operate?

That’s the question that popped up earlier this week in one Kentucky county as needed funds that were expected weren’t released, thus meaning the office had no way to pay anyone for anything.

As such, the sheriff issued a dire warning.
