So the nauseating politically correct trend of Damnatio Memoriae continues when it comes to Confederate and Southern History in the United States.
The liberal fascist in Austin cloaking themselves in the socially ambiguous guise of “racial sensitivity” continue to destroy Confederate and Southern history one statue, school name and in this case, highway name at a time.
So, just to be clear, ANY history these people find unacceptable is going to be replaced with a name THEY find more acceptable? In this case, two African-American’s nobody has ever heard of?
Even if the majority of citizens polled do not agree with the measure? You call that Democracy?
No, that is TYRANNY, pure and simple.
And let us not forget what Mr. Charlton Heston said about Political Correctness and Tyranny:
“Political Correctness is Tyranny with Manners.”
But oh well, nobody is going to make a fuss about this for fear of being labelled a “racist” even though that is the label these liberal fascist give ANYBODY who does not agree with their point of view.
Stay Alert, Stay Armed, Fight Political Correctness in Every Form and Stay Dangerous!
I am not going to waste my time or yours beating this dead horse Fighting the War to erase Southern Heritage in America, it is obvious that the powers that be are not going to stop in this tyrannical campaign.
But please, MARK MY WORDS: We are now living in Dangerous and Perilous Times, more Dangerous than you can ever imagine. Why? Because we now live in a country where ANY History and Culture can be demonized and erased if it is found “offensive” and by the same token, the Federal Govt. (not the people) can in an instant change traditionally accepted morals and standards regarding the sex of a person and force The States to follow along “or else”, regardless if the majority of people find it “Offensive and Immoral”. These criteria all add up to the definition of TYRANNY, pure and simple.
And for all of you out there that are placing all your hope in the November Elections to change things, I would not hold your breath if I were you..it is going to take more than changing who rents the White House for the next 4 years; This problem of TYRANNY is endemic to the Federal Government as a whole. -SF
Since the race-fueled massacre at Charleston’s Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church that left nine dead in South Carolina in June 2015, the presence of the Confederate flag in public places has garnered new attention in the national consciousness .
Shortly after the shooting, South Carolina Republican Gov. Nikki Haley supported the legislature’s decision to have the flag removed from the state’s capitol.
And on May 19, 84 Republicans sided with nearly all House Democrats in a 260 to 164 vote to remove the flag from Veterans Affairs cemeteries.
The vote was on an amendment to the 2017 Military Construction and Veterans Affairs appropriations bill proposed by Rep. Jared Huffman, a Democrat from California.
The amendment, which is part of the overall spending bill for the Department of Veterans Affairs, will allow Confederate flags on individual gravestones, but ban them from flagpoles. It also prohibits the use of federal funds to provide and display them on cemetery grounds.
Despite the bipartisanship shown in favor of the amendment, all six of the Republican representatives from South Carolina voted against it.
A remnant of the Civil War South, many below the Mason-Dixon see the Confederate flag as a part of their heritage. Others, however, see it as a symbol of hate. Moreover, prolonged debate over the flag has brought to light issues surrounding race, government intervention, and the First Amendment’s right to free speech.
