Emotion. It’s a powerful tool when you are trying to persuade and manipulate people.
I remember as a teenager listening to a late uncle of mine talk about how he made a living selling high-end sports cars in the 80’s by using this tactic. “You gotta sell the dream” he used to tell me. “Get them away from thinking about that sticker price and those outrageous monthly notes instead get them thinking about how bad ass they are going to look driving that car around.” I remember asking him if he ever felt bad about using manipulative sales tactics like that. He would smile and say “Nope. Never felt bad in the least. They are adults. When they walk on that car lot they know what they are getting into. Besides, there was always a small percentage of buyers with whom these tactics did not work. The LOGIC AND REASON driven buyer. Those people could no be swayed.”
I will never forget what he said to me next:
“Kid, don’t ever let EMOTION drive your decision-making. Nothing good will ever come out of it.”
I have been thinking a lot about that conversation lately, and if my Uncle were alive today, I would sincerely thank him for giving me that pearl of wisdom, because it has definitely served me well!
Too bad America’s liberals did not have a wise old uncle like mine.
Ever since the massacre at Parkland the left has been on a shameless campaign of emotionally driven hoplophobia hysteria. It seems there is no end to their arguments which are always devoid of any logic or reason. And I guess the saddest part of all this are the “useful idiots” they have placed in the limelight, the “brave teenagers” (to quote Dick’s Sporting Goods CEO Edward Stack) who just a couple of months ago were too busy eating tide pods or updating their status on facebook to really care about anything, but are now suddenly the new “experts” on gun control in America?
It’s insanity.
But of course, this is nothing new.
The left has been using children to manipulate the masses regarding gun control for the past decade.
Consider the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting when obama famously shed a tear during a press conference or how about when obama surrounded himself with children while signing a series of executive actions favoring gun control?
The fact of the matter is that the left is not interested in LOGIC when it comes to gun control, they are only interested in their AGENDA, which is if you use the tiniest shred of common sense is a GUN BAN and eventually GUN CONFISCATION.

And for those on the Right who say this is nothing but “hyped gun confiscation hysteria”, take an honest look at those six items in that article and tell me it could not happen in 2020. After Trump, we have to believe that anything is possible in politics now folks.
Personally, I am done arguing the merits of the Second Amendment to people who are diametrically opposed to individual freedoms in the first place. Individual freedoms afforded to me via The Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Done with it.

Crusader Corner: Obama vs. Sun Tzu
The deadly price of not making a threat assessment.

President Obama is very upset at his critics, who are taking him and his administration to task for refusing to use the term “radical Islam” to describe our enemy in the terror war.
During his speech on Tuesday, in referring to the term “radical Islam,” the president stated angrily:
What exactly would using this label accomplish? What exactly would it change? Would it make ISIL less committed to try to kill Americans? Would it bring in more allies? Is there a military strategy that is served by this? The answer is none of the above. Calling a threat by a different name does not make it go away. This is a political distraction.
It is interesting to note that our enemy has quite a preoccupation with this very same “political distraction.”
Indeed, back in 2011, Muslim Brotherhood front groups approached the Obama administration and demanded to look at the training materials for the FBI and law enforcement agencies to see what words they were using. It’s curious that instead of telling the Brotherhood to go away with the explanation that labels didn’t “accomplish” or “change” anything, the administration docilely obliged. More curious still, when the Brotherhood returned and demanded that all mention of words connected to Islam, such as “jihad,” “Sharia” and “radical Islam,” be purged from the manuals, the administration again docilely obliged.
So we have an intriguing situation: when people who want to protect America implore Obama to use the term “radical Islam” to describe the force waging war on us, he refuses and angrily responds that “different” names don’t make things go away. But when a totalitarian ideology that seeks to destroy our civilization (and boasts that it will do so by our own hands) tells us not to use the label “radical Islam” when we were doing that, Obama follows the orders.
And so, as author Stephen Coughlin has documented in his work Catastrophic Failure, the Obama administration rooted out all references to jihad and Islam from U.S. intelligence agency manuals. And this action and attitude has affected every realm of government. That’s why in the State Department, for example, an official is not even allowed to ask an immigrant about his views on jihad or Sharia law before approving his visa application. In fact, a “counterterrorism” government guide counsels that keeping Muslims out of the country for supporting Sharia law violates the First Amendment.
Such is the devious mentality behind Obama’s “defense strategy” in the terror war, which demands that American officials and investigators are to consider only violent or criminal conduct when trying to keep America safe. Radical ideology is to be ignored, particularly if it has the veneer of “religious expression.”
As a result, when the Muslim Orlando mass murderer, Omar Mateen, verbalized his support for killing unbelievers for the sake of Allah and Islam, it was to be ignored, and the FBI did ignore it. That’s why they let him slide. The Bureau didn’t want to break the administration’s rules and let the potential hazard to innocent American lives get in the way of fighting racism and Islamophobia.
And so we come to understand better why, when the Russians had warned the FBI about Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and the FBI looked into the brothers, Bureau investigators found nothing of concern. It is a bit difficult to find things of concern, you see, when speaking to jihadists entails never mentioning jihad.
And so Tamerlan and Dzhokhar went on to set off their bombs at the Boston Marathon Massacre, killing 3 people (including 8-year-old Martin Richard) and injuring an estimated 264 on April 15, 2013. And they made it very clear that they did it for the sake of Islam and Allah.
But labels don’t matter.
Labels did matter, though, to Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik on December 2, 2015, when they opened fire on Farook’s municipal government workmates at a Christmas party in San Bernardino, California, leaving 14 people dead and 21 wounded. Malik and Farook were inspired by the same ideas that the Tsarnaevs were inspired by. Indeed, just before the attack, Malik had been using her social media to announce her love of jihad and to pledge her undying devotion to Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. She was linked to a jihadist mosque in Pakistan. Farook, meanwhile, had made contact with several Muslim terrorist organizations.
But the Americans who were slaughtered by Malik and Farook, in the administration’s view, were clearly a small price to pay for the necessary pursuit of a utopian label-free world. That’s why Malik’s social media proclamations were never discovered before the San Bernardino massacre — because immigration officials were forbidden to review social media as part of their screening process. The Obama administration, through the highest levels of the Department of Homeland Security, explicitly banned examination of the social media of immigration applicants. John Cohen, a former acting under-secretary at DHS for intelligence and analysis, explained that this rule was in place because of the fear of a “civil liberties” backlash and “bad public relations” for the Obama administration.
Even more intriguing was how the administration had actually shut down a project that would have most likely led authorities to Farook and Malik and prevented the attack in the first place. Investigator Phil Haney, a former Department of Homeland Security agent, has revealed that the government had quashed a surveillance program that he had created to identify global networks that were smuggling Islamists into the United States. The database investigated groups that had ties to Farook and Malik as far back as 2012. But the State Department and the DHS Security Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties believed that Islamophobia was at play and that the “civil rights” of the Muslims being monitored were being violated, even though an overwhelming majority of them were not even American citizens. The administration officials accused Haney of profiling Muslims, removed his security clearance and shut down his program, destroying all 67 records of information that he had gathered.One of those records included an investigation into an organization with ties to the mosque in Riverside, Calif., that Farook had attended.

Another Reason To Be Armed: Hatchet Wielding Robber Stopped by Armed Citizen
According to Q13 Fox, the “store clerk says the masked man entered the store and immediately started swinging a hatchet toward a customer — then he turned his sights on the clerk.” The clerk was struck in the stomach — suffering “minor injuries” — before the attack was stopped by an armed customer who shot the suspect.
The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred around 5:45 a.m. Sunday morning.
The armed citizen is a described as a “60-year-old Seattle man” who comes into the store daily for coffee and lottery tickets. The 58-year-old clerk describes him as “a regular guy.” King County Sheriff’s Sergeant Cindi West said, “Fortunately, because of this customer with his weapon, this could have been a lot worse. The clerk could be the one laying there dead on the floor right now.”
The only description of the alleged attacker is that he was “in his 40s.”

Crusader Corner: Al Jazeera Admits Editing Interview to Exclude Criticism of Muhammed
This video goes a long way in proving many things, the biggest two being:
- If you are a Christian who has decided to stand up to this onslaught of murderous, barbarians called muslims and islam you should KNOW the bible inside and out and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, because the ENEMY will try to twist scripture to prove his point and confuse you.
- Al Jazeera is a network that supports Terrorism and the killing of Jews and Christians, therefore it is no surprise they suppress the REAL TRUTH about Islam and the so called “prophet muhammad” who was, if truth be told, nothing but an incestuous bandit nut-job who lived in a cave.

Arabic news channel Al Jazeera has admitted to selectively editing an interview with Tommy Robinson, one of the organisers behind PEGIDA UK, to remove critical references to Muhammed, the prophet of Islam, as well as to Israel and the death penalty in Qatar.
The host of the ‘Inside Story’ programme, former BBC presenter Peter Dobbie, initially attempted to trick Mr. Robinson, stating: “I just want to put one fulsome point to you if I may. We are in Doha… in the heart of Islam… let me just read something to you from ‘the holy book’ and I want you to react to that. You can’t see me but I’ve got a copy of the Quran in front of me.
“There are part of a holy book about people being persecuted and killed,” Dobbie said, before going on to quote the Old Testament from a piece of paper to the left of him. Dobbie then asked Mr. Robinson: “When you hear those quotes, what do you think that speaks to?”
But the ruse failed, leaving Dobbie audibly embarrassed. Mr. Robinson replied instantly: “I’d ask you why you’re reading the Old Testament to me. I’m not stupid. You’re sitting quoting verses from the Old Testament thinking I’m a moron that would think that’s from the Quran. I know the Old Testament and I know the Quran.”
Mr. Robinson’s panel debate was unavailable to view on the Al Jazeera website, and it was not shown again on television as previously scheduled.
But perhaps the most revealing part of the interview was the 50 seconds that were cut from the interview, during which Mr. Robinson reeled off a series of statements about the life of Muhammed, about the treatment of Israelis by the Qatari government, and about the policy of apostasy or freedom from Islam in Qatar.
Mr. Robinson asked the presenter if he was “free to criticise the prophet Muhammad”, to which the answer was “Yes” before the clip cut to 50 seconds later. But Mr. Robinson was recording the interview himself, from his desk, which reveals the cut made by Al Jazeera producers.
During the lost 50 seconds, as originally noted by the IsraellyCool blog, Mr Robinson says: “So you know of the life of Muhammed, yes? You know that he murdered 600 people. You know that he raped…[inaudible interruption] people in the Bible are different to the messenger of god, who is the most moral compass for every Muslim in the world. And when he is the moral compass for every Muslim in the world and he married a six year old child called Aisha and he raped her when she was nine, I have a problem with that. And when people wish to live as Muhammed did in my country [inaudible interruption].
“The country you’re sitting in now… people from Israel are not even allowed to enter. If we want to talk about fascism? The country you’re in now… people with Israeli passports… [inaudible interruption]”.
This is the moment at which the main Al Jazeera video resumes, when Mr. Robinson asked, “Can someone in Qatar leave Islam?” to which Dobbie responds: “You don’t have to be Islamic to be in Qatar”.
On the back foot, now defending Qatari government policies based on Shariah law, Dobbie states: “We have to move the debate on. I do have to move the debate on. You and I will have to have a conversation down the pub next time I’m in London”.
An Al Jazeera spokesman told Breitbart London: “Inside Story is a pre-recorded programme, and on many occasions our editorial staff make decisions on what to include or omit based on what is editorially relevant and acceptable to broadcasting standards to the particular debate being aired in the episode in question.”
Apostasy from Islam is in fact a crime in Qatar, punishable by death.
Attempting to convert Muslims to another religion is also a crime in the country, and the penalty for committing blasphemy in Qatar is seven years in jail, and there is a 1-year prison sentence for defamation of Islam by producing or promoting defamatory imagery.
Religious criticism on websites is censored and the censorship office of the Qatar General Broadcasting and Television Corporation monitors all imported foreign broadcasting for religious content show in the country.
Al Jazeera is among the world’s largest news organisations, with 80 bureaus globally. Officials from the channel have insisted they are editorially independent from the government of Qatar, but this assertion has been challenged and even ridiculed.
Al Jazeera has previously been criticised for being pro-Muslim Brotherhood, while the organisation is also the employer of former British Guardian columnist Mehdi Hasan, who operates out of the network’s Washington, D.C. bureau.
Last month the network announced that its American offering, named Al Jazeera America, was no longer sustainable, and would be winding up.
