Colt Ends Production of AR-15 for Consumer Market

 

Gun Control comes in many forms and more often than not the most devastating forms come via “Back Door” dealings and cunning subterfuge that the average joe never considers or much less hears about.

Colt and the U.S. Govt have had a long and prosperous Business relationship going back to the 1960’s

In 2018 the DOD dealt primarily with Colt for the majority of their M-4 and M-16 sales.

Therefore it is not a stretch to assume good ole’ Uncle Sam put forth an Ultimatum to Colt stipulating that if they wanted to keep their lucrative $80+ Million Dollar (annual) Deal with the DoD, then Civilian AR-15 manufacture had to go.

And I hate to break it to all your Trumpsters out there but this is EXACTLY the kind of “wheeling dealing” Trump prides himself in.

The only problem is that this “deal” is exactly the kind of Gun Control the liberals have been demanding (Taking AR-15’s out of citizen’s hands.) It was just done in a very sneaky way.

Bowing to political and public pressure involving firearms is never a smart thing for a retailer. Just look at Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Oh Well, what does Wal-Mart care, they were never about American values anyway.  They Import more Chinese and Foreign made goods than any other Domestic retailer (Estimated 85% of Wal-Mart’s Goods are foreign made).

I said this a long time ago: If you are putting your faith in Corporations to “toe the line” when it comes to your 2A Rights you are going to be sadly disappointed.

This is why I always support my LOCALLY OWNED Mom and Pop Gun Shops versus Big Box Stores to buy my Firearms, ammo and other gear when I can. Yeah, you may pay more, but consider it an investment in the future of your gun rights.

White House considers new project seeking links between mental health and violent behavior

(Jacqueline Alemany) The White House has been briefed on a proposal to develop a way to identify early signs of changes in people with mental illness that could lead to violent behavior.

Supporters see the plan as a way President Trump could move the ball forward on gun control following recent mass shootings as efforts seem to be flagging to impose harsher restrictions such as background checks on gun purchases.

The proposal is part of a larger initiative to establish a new agency called the Health Advanced Research Projects Agency or HARPA, which would sit inside the Health and Human Services Department. Its director would be appointed by the president, and the agency would have a separate budget, according to three people with knowledge of conversations around the plan.
