THE U.S. ARMY

AMERICA’S FIRST NATIONAL INSTITUTION

Since its official establishment, June 14, 1775 — more than a year before the Declaration of Independence — the U.S. Army has played a vital role in the growth and development of the American nation. Drawing on both long-standing militia traditions and recently introduced professional standards, it won the new republic’s independence in an arduous eight-year struggle against Great Britain. At times, the Army provided the lone symbol of nationhood around which patriots rallied.

Tomorrow is also Flag Day, an annual observance of the Second Continental Congress’ official adoption of the stars and stripes in 1777. At the time, they “resolved that the flag of the 13 United States” be represented by 13 alternating red and white stripes and the union…

The Omnipresent Surveillance State: Orwell’s 1984 Is No Longer Fiction

Read this twice and then send it to somebody you care about.

I found this part particularly of interest:

“How do you change the way people think? You start by changing the words they use.

In totalitarian regimes—a.k.a. police states—where conformity and compliance are enforced at the end of a loaded gun, the government dictates what words can and cannot be used. In countries where the police state hides behind a benevolent mask and disguises itself as tolerance, the citizens censor themselves, policing their words and thoughts to conform to the dictates of the mass mind.

Dystopian literature shows what happens when the populace is transformed into mindless automatons. In Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451, reading is banned and books are burned in order to suppress dissenting ideas, while televised entertainment is used to anesthetize the populace and render them easily pacified, distracted and controlled.

In Huxley’s Brave New World, serious literature, scientific thinking and experimentation are banned as subversive, while critical thinking is discouraged through the use of conditioning, social taboos and inferior education. Likewise, expressions of individuality, independence and morality are viewed as vulgar and abnormal.”

Frauds, Crooks and Criminals

I do it and some of you do it—-dance around the real roots of the danger America faces.

Syrians arrive KY Syrian ‘refugees’ arrive in Kentucky

I write about this crime here and that crook over there and illegal activities often perpetrated by the ‘new Americans’ our government, presumably driven by humanitarian zeal (and crass economic desires), has welcomed to America.

But this writer, Linda Goudsmit at Israpundit, goes to the heart of the matter—-we have invited for settlement those who seek to one day overturn our Constitutional form of government.

YouTube Continues it’s Orwellian Descent…

Guess what else now has been designated as “hate speech” on Youtube?

“Immigration status” and “Religion” have been declared a “protected category” on YouTube’s hate speech policy, effectively banning speech critical of illegal immigration and Islam, experts warn.

Of course, we all know that criticism of Christianity will not be considered hate speech.

Because of this I have Banned YouTube effectively and have urged WordPress to do the same.
