Just another reason to keep five or more 9-Volt Batteries on hand at all times in your BUG and Vehicle.
As a sidebar, I highly recommend having a couple of these weather radio’s around that have both a crank and solar charger for cell phone charging. During both Hurricane Ike these things saved our bacon.
